A Free 3-Hour Workshop

Could It Be Food Addiction?
You’ve tried to control your eating, but what if the problem isn’t a lack of willpower?
Maybe you've tried the diets, you've counted calories, cut out sugar, started over countless times, tried moderation, and yet somehow, you keep ending up back in the same place.
You may find yourself thinking about food more than you'd like. Eating when you're not hungry. Losing control around certain foods. Making promises to yourself that you don't keep. Feeling shame or regret afterward, and then wondering why you can't seem to just stop.
This free workshop is designed to help you find some clarity.
The First SHiFT is an educational and interactive workshop for people who are questioning their relationship with food and wondering whether food addiction could be part of the picture.
There is no cost, no judgment, and no pressure to join a program — just an opportunity to learn, reflect, and better understand what's really going on.
This workshop is for you if:
- You've tried numerous diets and programs, but nothing seems to stick.
- You can follow a plan for a while, but eventually find yourself back in old patterns.
- You feel out of control around certain foods.
- You think about food more than you believe you should.
- You've tried moderation, but it seems to lead you back to the same place.
- You eat for reasons that go beyond physical hunger.
- You feel shame, guilt, or regret around your eating.
- Part of you wonders if food might be an addiction.
- You haven’t been part of a SHiFT program before, and you’re ready to stop guessing and start understanding.
Together we'll explore:
-
The 3 Types of Eaters
- Learn the differences between normal eating, emotional eating, and food addiction—and why knowing the difference matters.
-
The Signs of Food Addiction
- Explore some of the patterns that may indicate you're dealing with something more than emotional eating or a lack of discipline.
-
The Cost of the Struggle
- Look beyond weight and consider how your relationship with food may be affecting your health, relationships, confidence, energy, time, finances, and mental space.
-
What Recovery Can Look Like
- Discover why food addiction may require a different approach than another diet, and why abstinence can actually create more freedom, not less.
This workshop will be a valuable experience & if you want to explore next steps, we'll show you how!
A note from SHiFT
At SHiFT, we believe that finding the right support starts with understanding what's actually happening.
This workshop isn't designed to tell you what you should do, it's designed to help you understand your relationship with food so you can make a more informed decision about what support you need next.
